MARRIOTT SCHOOL UNIFORM

Marriott pupils are proud to wear their school uniform – it helps with self-esteem and gives them a sense of belonging.

          Footwear

Footwear must be smart and of ‘school type’

Shoes or trainers should be entirely black, including the straps or laces

Foundation stage children should wear shoes with Velcro fastenings

Older children should be able to tie their own laces before wearing laced shoes to school

No flips flops/sliders or high heels should be worn

Trousers & Shorts

Black or grey shorts/trousers

No jeans

Skirts, Dresses, Culottes and Pinafores – these should be black or grey

Skirts or dresses should be no shorter than knee length

Blue and white gingham dresses can be worn in the summer

Leggings

Leggings may be worn under skirts/dresses, but not on their own – they should be black or grey

Socks & Tights

These should be black, grey or white

           Tops

Shirts, Blouses & Polo shirts

White shirts or blouses only

White polo shirts, short or long sleeved

Jumpers, Sweatshirts & Cardigans

Royal blue jumpers, sweatshirts, or cardigans

Jumpers can be with or without the school logo

No hoodies

P.E. Kit

Black plimsols can be worn

Foundation stage children should wear ones with a Velcro fastening

Black or grey P.E. shorts

Black or grey leggings/joggers

Plain white t. shirts

No football shirts or other branded sportswear

Plain black or grey sweatshirts – no logos or hoodies

Swimming [year 3]

Swimming trunks or shorts that finish above the knee

One piece swimming costumes

Coats & Outdoor wear

Appropriate coats/raincoats should be worn for the season

Hair, Jewellery & Make-Up

Earrings must be small and plain, studs are ideal

Earrings must be removed at home on P.E. days, newly pierced ears must be taped

No make-up or nail varnish is permitted at school
