Hello Spike Milligan class,

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to Marriott Primary!

We have completed an in-depth risk assessment, which can be viewed on ClassDojo and the school website.

When you are back at school, you and your family must follow the 2m social distancing rules, especially before school and after school when dropping off and collecting.

In Spike Milligan class, you will come into class through the external classroom door (Foundation Base) at normal time (8.25am). The doors will be locked at 8:45am so please arrive on time. After this it will be a late arrival.

Before coming into class, your child must wash their hands using the hand washing stations just outside the classroom door, using soap and water. This will help to prevent the spread of the coronavirus throughout the school and the community.

Please follow any one-way system around the Foundation Base when coming into school as this is for everyone’s safety.

Hot dinners and packed lunches will be as normal.

In your class, the adults will be Mrs Hurner, Mrs Suleman and Mrs Kelly. Mrs Stevens will also be teaching on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you need to speak to them about anything, this will be done over the phone only, due to social distancing measures. Please arrange this through the office.

In Spike Milligan class, our PE day is Friday. Children can come into school wearing PE kit for this day. Staff in the base will inform you when this will begin, as we will not be doing PE for the first few weeks to allow the children to settle into school.

Children are expected to wear school uniform when in school, if possible.

If your child has any medication in school from last academic year, please come and collect it to be replaced.

You may see some staff members in face visors. This is to help everyone stay safe when in school.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone on next week! Have a great bank holiday weekend.

Mrs Turner and Mrs Stevens
