At Marriott, we provide a Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) curriculum that is accessible to all pupils and designed to maximise outcomes for every child. Our aim is for children to know more, remember more and understand more, while embedding the core values of Marriott Primary School within their learning. The curriculum supports pupils in becoming healthy—both physically and mentally—as well as independent and responsible members of society, helping them to understand their personal and social development and the moral, social and cultural issues associated with growing up, including relationships and online safety.

We place a strong emphasis on developing resilience, character and positive personal attributes such as kindness, integrity, generosity and honesty. Through our Marriott’s Merits, pupils are encouraged to develop self-worth, contribute positively to school life and the wider community, and build the confidence to achieve both academic and personal goals. This approach supports children in persevering through challenges and developing the values needed to become responsible and respectful citizens.
