Religious Education

 

At Marriott Primary School, Religious Education (RE) is a valued part of the curriculum, shaped by a worldviews approach (RWV). We aim to develop pupils’ understanding of a wide range of religious and non-religious beliefs, enabling them to explore questions of belief, identity and the world around them. 

Through RE, pupils develop curiosity, respect and confidence in expressing their views. Key skills such as enquiry, discussion, comparison and reflection are embedded throughout. We aim to develop thoughtful, open-minded individuals who uphold our school values and British values, including mutual respect and tolerance.
